With over three decades in the educational sector, Austin J. Sanders brings a wealth of experience to his role as President of Academic Mastery and Reconnection. His extensive background includes roles as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, program director, and school board member across various districts including Ann Arbor, Detroit, Cincinnati, North College Hill, and Fairfield. Notably, Austin spearheaded a notable writing initiative in Detroit, sponsored by the Detroit Public Schools and the University of Michigan, and was the pioneering African American principal in the North College Hill School District. He is also pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership at the University of Dayton, further cementing his commitment to educational excellence.
